In the summer of 2008, I married my wife at a small country bed and breakfast in the quiet town of North Bennington, VT. On the hill behind us, white horses grazed in the meadow. A trail has been prepared here and the public is invited to walk and benefit from its healing power. This place is affectionately known as "The Mile Around Woods

A trail has been prepared here and the public is invited to walk and benefit from its healing power. This place is affectionately known as "The Mile Around Woods."
Over the years, we keep going back to the promise of the Mile Around Woods. Its beauty, serenity, and the hopes we had for our future. We now work together in an ongoing search for unwanted land. We feel these properties have so much unrealized potential!

We run a very small operation, but we have partners across the country who have invested in thousands of properties. Many of these investors are eager to buy properties quickly, even if such a property doesn't fit into our portfolio. We run a very small operation, but we have partners across the country who have invested in thousands of properties. Many of these investors are eager to buy properties quickly, even if such a property doesn't fit into our portfolio. For this reason, it's a good idea to tell us everything about your land and we will try to structure a good deal for you.

Our search for land is similar to that of antique pickers. Imagine a couple guys driving across the country knocking on doors, looking for unwanted "junk." They realize that these items may be hidden "treasure" for the right collector, so they make offers to the owners.
Sometimes the owners have decided that it's time to sell. The pickers then sell these treasures in their retail store where they have access to a market of perspective collectors. When it's a good deal, everyone is happy.
